spooky poem

For the night you knock and knock hoping to fright
instead I'm dressed up too ill give you
a fright when I yell boo.

conserving artefacts

What Shelly talked about.
She was talking to people who preserve artefacts she talked to one team who looked after 5 huts and a number of items.

My thoughts on what it would be like to work in Antarctica conserving artefacts.
Personally I would not like to do that as my job because working with history is not what i would want to do. And you also have to go get experience.

Donald Trumps Wins

I was on the PlayStation talking to people and my sister walked in to say that trump won. The look on here face was priceless.

I feel like he should of not won the election because hes going to make the world bad

opinions i have heard. I have heard people saying that he will start world war 3. I heard that Canadian imagination site has crashed because to many people want to leave America because trump has won.

Why did trump win ?

As I entered the gloomy moonlit forest I saw a ghostly figure in the murky air! It went into a cave so I
decided to follow it. As I walked though the cave I got this spine-chilling feeling in me. I
came to a stop and I could not see it. Its like its invisible to the human eye. So I looked around. I
saw a monstrous figure fly into the shadowy haunted forest! So, I went to investigate. As I entered I felt scared because it was
really eerie.

Water Challenge
what it means
Drinking water also helps the skin do it's job of regulating the body's temperature through sweating. Feed your body. Water is essential for the proper circulation of nutrients in the body. Water serves at the body's transportation system and when we are dehydrated things just can't get around as well.

Antarctica

Antarctica, the southernmost continent and site of the South Pole, is a virtually uninhabited, ice-covered landmass. Most cruises to the continent visit the Antarctic Peninsula, which stretches toward South America. It’s known for the Lemaire Channel and Paradise Harbor, striking, iceberg-flanked passageways, and Port Lockroy, a former British research station turned museum. The peninsula’s isolated terrain also shelters rich wildlife, including many penguins.

Scott Base, New Zealand's only Antarctic research station, perches on a low volcanic headland called Pram Point at the Southern End of Ross Island, 3500kms south of Dunedin and 1350kms from the South Pole.
Its setting is dramatic. An active volcano, Erebus, looming over its shoulder. The Ross Ice Shelf in ramming mode out in front causing the land, pressure waves of ice rear up.

Antarctica population is zero i know that for a fact.

mount Erebus is 3,794 m tall

why is scott bass famous.
The Scott Base is a New Zealand Antarctic research facility located at Pram Point on Ross Island near Mount Erebus in New Zealand's Ross Dependency territorial claim.

Antarctica is the best place on earth to find meteorites. It’s covered in white snow, so dark meteorites are super easy to spot long after they have hit the ground.

  • While humans don’t permanently reside in Antarctica, several thousand people live and work at various research facilities found on the continent.
  • While Antarctica features harsh living conditions, a number of plants and animals have adapted to survive and call the icy continent home.
  • Well known animals that live in Antarctica include penguins and seals.

physical conditions in Antarctica.
Stay warm - Very important this one, more so than you might imagine (see below for a breakdown of why). There are two things your clothing has to do in cold weather even more so than at any other time, they are firstly to wick away sweat from your body and secondly to prevent too much of your body heat from escaping.

Te reo Māori is undergoing a resurgence and more people speak the language. There are Māori-language schools, Māori radio stations and a Māori television channel. There was a time when some people objected to hearing Māori greetings such as ‘Kia ora’. The campaign to revive the language has been a long one.

Matariki

Matariki literally means the ‘eyes of god’ (mata ariki) or ‘little eyes’ (mata riki). According to myth, when Ranginui, the sky father, and Papatūānuku, the earth mother, were separated by their children, the god of the winds, Tāwhirimātea, became so angry that he tore out his eyes and threw them into the heavens.
